Riders using shuttles should budget ample extra travel time. For example, a rider traveling to Park Street from Boston College should budget at least an additional 20 minutes of travel in additional to their regular commute.
Orange Line will replace Green Line service between Back Bay/Copley and North Station.
Accessible van service will be available for Green Line stops between Back Bay/Copley and North Station.
The Commuter Rail will be free between Lansdowne and South Station on the Worcester Line.
Free fares at Kenmore, Riverside, and all surface-level stops west of Kenmore.
B Branch:
Shuttle buses will run from Back Bay/Copley to Babcock Street (B).
Bus Route 57 will be free.
C & D Branches:
Shuttle buses will run from Back Bay/Copley to Kenmore (C&D).
Free fares at Kenmore, Riverside, and all surface-level stops west of Kenmore.
E Branch:
Bus Route 39 will be free and replaces Green Line service between Heath Street and Back Bay/Copley (E). Extra buses will be added to the 39 to accommodate additional capacity.
Orange Line transfers:
Haymarket (Transfer within Station to Orange Line.)
Government Center (use State, 0.2 mi.)
Park Street (use Downtown Crossing, 0.2 mi.)
Boylston (use Chinatown, 0.1 mi.)
Arlington (use Chinatown, 0.4 mi.)
Symphony (use Mass Ave 0.1 mi.)
Northeastern University (use Ruggles 0.3 mi)
Museum of Fine Arts (use Ruggles 0.3 mi)

Bus routes:
Route 57 (frequent bus route) travels along the Green Line’s B branch between Kenmore and Packard’s Corner. Free during closure. (B branch alternative)
Route 66 (frequent bus route) makes stops at Riverway, Mission Park, Fenwood Rd, and Brigham Circle. Also connects to the Orange Line at Roxbury Crossing. (E branch alternative)
Shuttle options:
If you work in the Longwood Medical Area and your employer or college is a member of Longwood Collective, take the free shuttle to connect directly to the Orange Line at Ruggles. The Ruggles shuttle makes stops throughout the LMA, Fenway, and Mission Hill. (ID required)
