The MBTA has announced a schedule of subway closures that will affect all riders across the region as part of their Track Improvement Program.
These closures will allow the T to repair and replace tracks, reduce “slow zones,” and bring the system into a state of good repair. The work they are doing is necessary and important, and we commend them for fixing these problems decades in the making.
